SimCore

Overview

SimCore is a WebGPU physics experiment built in two days using "vibe coding." By directing AI through natural language, I architected a system that models 100,000+ particles in real time. The project demonstrates fluid dynamics and phase transitions, shifting the focus from manual coding to the design of physical intent. Please note that this is not peer reviewed so might have scientific mistakes. Treat this as a concept exploration.

Concept

My goal was to bypass the syntax barrier and "vibe code" a high-concurrency engine.

  • AI Philosophy: I acted as Creative Director, using Google AI Studio as my Senior Engineer to translate plain-English logic into complex WGSL shaders.

  • Constraints: Focused on three material states (solid, liquid, gas) to keep the simulation clean and analytical.

Tools

  • Orchestration: Google AI Studio

  • Stack: WebGPU, WGSL, TypeScript, Vite

Reflection

Vibe coding has massive potential for art and design explorations and experimental projects.
